July 15-18: NJ & NY

We went to NJ for Grandpa Bobby's 85th birthday party. It was a wonderful party. I don't have pictures yet, but hopefully people will send me some.

Sunday - brunch at Bob and Carol's, the Party, dinner with Joe at Dougie's
Monday - soccer in the morning, followed by the ER. Then Lynne and Mike's for most of the day, then into NYC
Tuesday - NY! Sam and Bob had lunch at Le Perigord, then Spiderman, dinner with Deb Rosen, and after dinner fun with Joe and 3 Guttman girls.
Wed - morning in NYC. Joe drove us to the airport. Thanks Joe!

Sam kicked a hard one, Josh got unlucky in his block, and snapped back his wrist. He got a buckle fracture. Here he is at the ER in Englewood. The Tenafly volunteer ambulance corps took him there in an ambulance.

Rachel and Sophie at Aunt Lynne and Uncle Mike's house - thanks to Sophie for coming by after a tough day as a camp counselor!

Perry Como's house...

at MarieBelle - like being transported to Paris. My spicy Mexican iced chocolate was delicious. Sam's pineapple smoothie was excellent with a strong pineapple flavor. Josh's strawberry-banana smoothie was good in a standard way.
Dad - you would love this place. It's a little oasis of civilization in the city. 484 Broome Street.
